Ever wonder what goes into designing one of the world’s most popular sedans?

The all-new Infiniti Q50, which debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, will carry on the legacy established by the G-series sedan while ushering in a new era for the Japanese luxury automaker.

But despite the foundation Infiniti already had with its popular G37 sedan, the Q50 had a different design philosophy and vision which has been detailed in a new video released by the Japanese automaker.

President of Infiniti Global Johan de Nysschen and Senior VP and CEO Shiro Nakamura go in depth on the work that went into creating the Q50, which will continue to carry the torch of one of the world’s most popular sedans.
