The one-off Lamborghini Pregunta prototype is now up for sale for around $2.1 million (1.6-million Euros) through French exotic dealership Autodrome.

Many consider the Pregunta to be one of the last “true” Lamborghini vehicles fully developed by the Italian automaker before the brand was taken over by Audi. The Pregunta was commissioned as a one-off vehicle before the official handover to Audi took place.

Based on the Diablo platform, the Pregunta is a lighter, rear-wheel drive exotic powered by a V12 engine with 530 hp and a top speed of 207 mph. Styling and design was heavily influenced by Formula One race cars along with the aerospace industry. In a way, it was ahead of its time with the use of carbon fiber, optical fiber lighting, and rear-facing cameras instead of side mirrors.
