Lexus Fans Name New RC F Color 'Solar Flare'
A competition was held on social media to name one of the eye-catching colors that will be available on the new Lexus RC F, and the brand has chosen a winner.
This bright orange will be called “Solar Flare,” a name that was submitted by five different commenters on Lexus’ Facebook page. The final list was comprised of 10 different choices, which were presented to Lexus UK Director Richard Balshaw, who selected the overall winner.

The RC F will hit dealerships sometime in very late 2014, sporting the most powerful V8 Lexus has ever stuffed in a production car. Exact numbers are still not available, but Lexus says the car will have more than 450 hp.
