Jaguar is planning to launch an entire family of crossovers and SUVs following the release of its new F-Pace.

The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace is expected to launch early next year and the British automaker will eventually have a range of crossover and SUV models following the premium F-Pace. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Jaguar is considering a smaller compact crossover to complement the F-Pace, and now reports say that the lineup will include a rival to the MINI Countryman and Audi Q1. According to Autocar, the Audi Q1 competitor will be a little more than 13 feet in length as, Jaguar sees more value in a compact offering than a subcompact model.

For the time being, it doesn’t appear that Jaguar is considering an SUV larger than the new F-Pace, despite rumors that a long-wheelbase, seven-seater F-Pace variant is in the works. Company insiders indicate that Jaguar wants to keep the F-Pace performance oriented, making a larger and heavier model unlikely.

That also means that Jaguar will likely create coupe-styled versions of the F-Pace to compete with models such as the BMW X4 and X6 and even the new Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLE Coupe models. Topping the range for each offering will be R and SVR versions.

In related news, Jaguar’s design director Ian Callum has all but confirmed that an all-electric Jaguar is in the works. The company recently filed a trademark for the name “EV-Type.”
