2017 BMW M2 Video, First Look
BMW is back on track in its goal of building the ultimate driving machine.
The 2017 BMW M2 made its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, sporting aggressive styling and a tempting 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque. Torque can be increased in short bursts to 369 lb-ft thanks to the M2’s overboost function. The sporty coupe tips the scales at 3,295 pounds, helping it sprint from zero-to-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Oh, it also boasts near 50/50 weight distribution so we’re going to guess it’s an absolute blast to drive.

Perhaps the biggest reason to celebrate is that the 2017 BMW M2 will be offered with a manual transmission, which is more than we can say about the new 2017 Infiniti Q60 that also debuted in Detroit. BMW also announced that pricing will start from $52,695 including destination.
