Audi is amping up its fans by teasing the second-generation A5 before its June 2 debut.

The 2017 Audi A5 will debut at the automaker’s HQ in Ingolstadt, Germany, and we’ve already spied the new coupe testing, but the latest teaser images give us a sneak peek at what’s under the camouflage.

In the teaser campaign leading up to the coupe’s debut, Audi has created nine hashtags with the leading tag being #NowThatsACoupe. Others highlight some of the A5’s standout features like #NowThatsLighting, #NowThatsDamping, #NowThatsCornering, #NowThatsPioneering, #NowThatsMuscles, #NowThatsSixCyilnders, #NowThatsIconic and #NowThatsCamouflage. From these excessive hashtags and teaser GIFs, we can see that the A5 will get updated LED lighting and Audi’s fantastic digital dashboard, and will be powered by a V6 engine.

The next-generation A5 will be built on the company’s new platform, the same one underpinning the new A4, which means it will lose a lot of weight. It has been reported that the new A5 will be nearly 300 pounds lighter than its predecessor. We’re not expecting a huge departure in the styling department, but we are expecting that the new coupe will get all the latest tech like including Audi’s safety and driver assistance features.

Check out the GIFs below to see how Audi is teasing its 2017 A5 coupe. Check back on June 2 for details following the full reveal. AutoGuide.com has also been invited to drive the 2017 Audi A5 in mid-June, and we’ll have a full road test review shortly after.
