Nissan has updated the 2016 Leaf lineup.

The Japanese automaker has opted to kill off the 24-kWh battery that comes standard in the base model Leaf, and instead, all 2016 model year Leafs from here on out will come standard with the larger 30-kWh battery. That also means base pricing for the Nissan Leaf has gone up to $32,450 before any federal, state or regional incentives are applied. The 2016 Nissan Leaf S will also come standard with the Quick Charge Package.

Those that are still interested in the cheaper, 24-kWh Nissan Leaf can visit Nissan’s website to locate a vehicle or a dealership that still has one in stock. The updated, 30-kWh standard Leaf began arriving in dealerships late last month.

The larger capacity battery allows the Leaf to return an all-electric range of 107 miles, up from the 84 miles that the 24-kWh battery provides.
