Volvo is offering a big conquest bonus on its new S90 hoping to lure customers over from the German luxury brands.

According to carsdirect.com, Volvo is giving buyers a $3,000 bonus if they get out of an Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus or Mercedes-Benz vehicle. That is a pretty big jump over the $1,000 that Volvo was offering last month.

The new S90 has been slowly getting to dealers over the last couple of months, with the brand moving 670 S90s in November thanks to low supply. For now, transaction costs and pricing for the new Volvo are high and will stay there until production is fully ramped up.

Besides the conquest cash, Volvo is offering a $500 loyalty bonus for existing Volvo owners, but so far, there are no incentives being offered on the S90.

The Swedish brand is also looking to scoop up some angry Volkswagen and Audi TDI diesel owners, offering them a five-year extended warranty valued at $1,700. It includes complimentary maintenance, roadside assistance, and coverage on certain items that wear out.
