Hellcat-Powered Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Confirmed for Real This Time
In its quest to Hellcat all the things, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has officially been confirmed to debut soon.
Jeep boss Michael Manley confirmed yesterday in Detroit that the hyper SUV will make its official debut simultaneously at the New York Auto Show and the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, on April 12.
Although this new model has been an open secret for a while and spy photographers have already caught it testing multiple times, this is the first time Jeep has officially confirmed the Trackhawk for production.

Rumored to pack more than 700 horsepower, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk will be powered by the same supercharged Hemi 6.2-liter V8 that’s in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Jeep models. As a reminder, that monster engine outputs 707 hp and 650 pound-feet of torque in the Dodges.
Expect the Trackhawk’s top speed to be around 200 mph and the zero-to-60-mph time to ring in at about three seconds. The SUV will also have a Track mode and will likely still be quite capable off-road.
