The 2019 Hyundai Tucson is getting a facelift and spy photographers have caught it on camera while cold weather testing.

The heavy camouflage up front and in the rear reveal where the majority of the changes will take place for the refreshed Tucson. Hiding behind the camouflage, we can see new headlights with a different setup for the daytime running lights, while the front grille will be updated to bring the Tucson in line with other recently updated Hyundai models. Although it’s difficult to see, expect a new design for the air intakes on the bumper.

Over to the rear of the Tucson, there should be new tail lights and a new rear bumper lurking underneath the heavy coverings. Don’t expect any major changes with the rear hatch or glass, but Hyundai is trying to hide something with the rear quarter panel, so there could be some slight changes there.

The refresh could also bring changes to the interior, but expect those to be minor. The Korean automaker did recently announce it is working on an Intelligent Personal Agent system, similar to Amazon’s Alexa.

Currently there are no indications of any changes under the hood, so the current engines should carryover.
