2014 McLaren P1 Video, First Look: 2013 Geneva Motor Show
This year’s Geneva Motor Show was a feast for supercar fans, with Lamborghini, Ferrari and McLaren all showing off new top-dog vehicles. British supercar maker McLaren showed off the new P1, a car that will replace the iconic and legendary McLaren F1.
Using a hybrid powertrain the P1 combines an electric motor with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 in order to make a whopping 903 hp. That hybrid setup also allows the P1 to travel 12 miles on electric power alone, and can be recharged by plugging it in, or through the cars impressive regenerative brakes.

The P1 also features a ton of high-tech features like an active rear-spoiler which assists with downforce, and can act as a giant air brake.

With a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 9,000 rpm redline, the P1 is nothing short of amazing, blasting to 60 mph in under 3 seconds, and having a top speed of 218 mph.
