MINI‘s Countryman small crossover made its debut today in New York City.

The largest and perhaps least brand-appropriate MINI model is getting a style refresh for the 2015 model year and is set to arrive in July. The Cooper, Cooper S and John Cooper Works performance variants will all be present and accounted for, but wearing the updated version of MINI’s corporate style.

The 2015 Countryman is still built on the same platform as previous model years and uses the same 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. In the base cars, it offers 121 hp while that figure goes up to 181 for the Cooper S version. Finally, the JCW model makes 208.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard on all variants, but you can also opt for an automatic with the same number of gears for a little extra scratch.

Speaking of greenbacks, MINI hasn’t said what the new model will cost, although it probably won’t stray too far from the current starting price just over $23,000.

All4 all-wheel drive is also available as an option on both the Cooper and Cooper S versions, but standard for the JCW.

As a refreshed product rather than an all-new model, the car’s key differences are cosmetic. Its body is updated with a more “rugged” look and some of the highlights include new 17-inch wheels. The headlights get the same swept-back feel, and the cabin has also been updated to look more like MINI’s smaller Hardtop model.
