For just under $166,000, you could own the most powerful and strangest looking Jaguar F-Types yet.

The company had its limited-production creation on display today at The Quail as part of the Monterey Car Week. If you thought the 550-hp F-Type R coupe was nuts, just wait until you find out about this version. In this case, the blown 5.0-liter mill makes 575 hp and will launch the car to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds making it the most powerful road car Jaguar has ever produced. Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations team created it as an homage to the D-Type and named it in honor of the brand’s seven wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Its top speed is limited to 186 MPH and special aerodynamic enhancements are in place to help it maintain stability at such blinding speed should you ever find a place to reach them. It also gets a revised suspension designed for better track performance.

The crazy Jaguar will be available at dealers in the U.S. starting next Spring in blue of the white color shown here. There will also be black, red and green paint colors available, but they will cost even more than the already inflated starting price.
