McLaren 675LT Limited to 500 Units

Those looking to get a taste of McLaren’s latest creation will have to act fast, only 500 of them are being sold.

The limited edition model has a focused approach to speed and is the most light-weight model in the brands “Super-Series” lineup. The lightweight carbon fibre MonoCell chassis is shared with each model in the lineup,the chassis set up and powertrain are unique while a third of overall parts and components of the 675LT have been modified.

The performance oriented car is set up for track use, with a wider front and rear track, stiffer and lighter springs and improved aerodynamics. The car also uses some updated suspension geometry that was created using the knowledge from developing the P1 hypercar.

The 675LT tips the scales at just 2,711 lbs, which is 220 lbs lighter than the standard 650S, while engine output has been upped to a hellish 666-hp (675 metric horsepower, justifying the name). With a top speed of 205 MPH, the 675LT will also be offered in five “By McLaren” hero specifications, including four bespoke colors never previously offered: Silica White, Delta Red, Napier Green and Chicane Grey. The fifth color is the British automaker’s famous McLaren Orange.
