Lamborghini Huracan Roadster to Debut in March 2016
The Lamborghini Huracan roadster is rumored to bow at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March.
Lamborghini’s answer to Ferrari’s latest drop top model, the 488 Spider, won’t come until next year at the earliest, when it will arrive with the same 5.2-liter V10 as the standard Huracan making 602 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. Like most convertible models, expect the Huracan to weigh a tad bit more than the coupe version.

For comparison’s sake, the Ferrari 488 Spider weighs 110 pounds more than the Ferrari 488 GTB coupe, although the Italian automaker claims its 0-60 time is identical at three seconds flat. The Ferrari 488 Spider will also have a top speed of 203 mph regardless if the top is dropped or not. As it stands, Ferrari’s offering cranks out more power from its turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine with 660 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque.
In order to support the removable roof on the Huracan roadster, Lamborghini will make some minor changes to the exotic’s design especially with the rear pillar.
