Lamborghini had its best sales year ever in 2015.

The Italian exotic automaker sold a record 3,245 vehicles worldwide last year and is now expanding to meet demand. The growth in sales has resulted in the hiring of 150 new workers, bringing Lamborghini’s total to 1,300 employees. Over 600 new workers have joined the company in the last five years.

The Lamborghini Huracan is the company’s best-selling model, which will also have a heavy presence in motorsports around the world in the 2016 season.

Looking forward, the Urus SUV will go into production in 2018, and with how booming the segment is, expect even more growth and record sales from the company. By 2018, Lamborghini will have doubled the size of its factory and brought on another 500 new employees.

“Lamborghini is experiencing strong, steady growth in sales and also in its workforce,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “We are getting ready for groundbreaking changes with the introduction of our third model in 2018, which points to stable, sustainable growth for our company.”

Keep going lambo! Aventador is a great drive in roadster format, though a little wide in the city Huracan spyder a worthy successor to the gallardo and handles well, opposite to the hacks, the steering feels fine for most real world driving. Only issue is that angular interior. Looks 'ok' now but in 3-5+ years its going to look seriously dated. Just look at the Reventon. Thing that always tricks the senses ..... they (Lambo) partially use for marketing and sales the word 'exclusive' ..... how do they figure that when they are producing record numbers. They also want to sell more of the Huracan than they did the Gallardo. Thats large numbers. Unfortunately Lambo is not the only ones to suffer from this 'exclusive' misunderstanding ..... Ferrari, McLaren all the same
