The next-generation, 2018 Audi Q3 has been spied for the first time.

Given how much camouflage this particular 2018 Audi Q3 prototype is wearing, it appears the German automaker is in the very early stages of testing its next-generation crossover. Based on its size, we can rule out the heavily camouflaged vehicle to be an Audi Q2 or Q5, so it’s more than likely that the company has begun testing the new Audi Q3.

Built on Audi’s new MQB platform, the Q3 will grow slightly compared to its predecessor in order to make room for the new Q2.

As for what you will find under the hood, the Q3 is expected to share its powerplants with the new Volkswagen Tiguan. The interior on the other hand, will be heavily influenced by the new Audi A4. Expect the 2018 Audi Q3 to make a debut in late 2017 or early 2018.
