Cadillac Debuts More Connected and Intuitive Infotainment System
Cadillac has debuted an updated infotainment system in the CTS sedan.
The new system can be personalized, has a more intuitive user interface, and features more app compatibility.
“The next-generation Cadillac user experience is a dynamic platform that can be adjusted over time to meet a customer’s evolving connectivity needs, leveraging the cloud to enable personalization, available connected navigation, and applications via the Collection app store,” Cadillac said in a statement.
Making the system faster and more intuitive was a big goal for Cadillac, and now it operates more like a smartphone. A new Summary View displays all the key functions (climate, audio, phone, and navigation) on one screen and personalized driver profiles and settings can now be saved via the cloud and accessed in other Cadillacs equipped with the system.

Cadillac’s OnStar 4G LTE internet connection allows over-the-air updates and can act as a wifi hotspot for up to seven devices and now two Bluetooth devices can be connected at the same time. Of course, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included.
The new system will be available in the XTS and ATS when 2018 model year production begins and is expected to make it to the rest of the Cadillac lineup in the future.

2016 system is awful. My 2012 Buick was far better system.
I don't want a phone - I want a car. Show me info about the car I am driving on the dash, not what internet apps I can connect to.
