The first 30 Tesla Model 3s will be handed over to their new owners tonight.

The American automaker will be live streaming the event on its website, although at the time of this writing, no video has been posted yet. The event starts at 8:45 PM Pacific / 11:45 PM Eastern, and hopefully along with the first units being delivered, Tesla will reveal more details on the Model 3 including final specifications and build options for the customers eagerly waiting in line.

Official pre-order numbers for the Tesla Model 3 are unclear, but it’s believed to be around 400,000 people that have handed over $1,000 for a spot. So far those that have pre-ordered have not heard anything about the car, which will likely change in the coming months with production starting to ramp up.
