Ford recently introduced the Edge ST and is rumored to have an Explorer ST in the works as well.

After selling a record number of crossovers and SUVs in 2017, the automaker is expanding on such product offerings for the new year. At the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, the Blue Oval will introduce another Edge variant: the Edge Titanium Elite.

The Edge Titanium Elite bridges the gap between the Titanium trim and the better-equipped Sport trim in the model’s lineup. It adds a different rear fascia, 20-inch wheels and body color sides to pair a look inspired by the Sport model with the 2.0-liter turbo or 3.5-liter V6 engines, instead of the Sport’s 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6.

In a statement, Ford said the Titanium Elite is a small but important addition to its crossover lineup as the brand looks to build on its successful Edge sales momentum. Last year, the automaker moved 142,603 Edge units, marking the best year on record for the nameplate after over a decade of sales.
