Love This Porsche Cayenne Coupe Photoshop or Kill It With Fire?
Last year, a report surfaced that Porsche is considering a Cayenne Coupe model to compete with SUVs like the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe.
While the whole idea of “coupe SUVs” seems a bit silly to automotive enthusiasts, the market has shown there’s a place for them, however unfortunate it may be. The German automaker confirmed in an interview last year that it’s considering a Cayenne Coupe model, and one has already been built as an internal design project but has not been shown to the public. “We analyze different segments, and this can be an option in the future,” said Porsche boss Oliver Blume in an interview with Autocar. “Today, no decision has been taken. We have to make a calculation and talk to our customers.”

Porsche has been spied testing what appears to be test mules for a possible Cayenne Coupe, and now our illustrators have come up with a render that could preview such a model. What do you guys think? Should Porsche move forward with building a BMW X6 fighter, adding another competitor to the already awkward “coupe SUV” segment?

It's just a box on 4 wheels. About as much design imagination as...as....sorry, it has no design imagination. Sacrilege if it carried he Porsche crest.
