The 2019 Ford Focus will premiere on April 10 and the American automaker has begun teasing the next-generation model.

The new Focus has been testing around the world while wearing stylish camouflage, but this is the first time Ford has officially teased the model’s sheetmetal. It’s a short teaser video that offers a look at the the new front end, wheels, and rear hatch. Unfortunately for Ford, website Vezess.hu managed to snap a photo of the Ford Focus fully revealed while it was on an official photo shoot in Portugal.

Expect some major changes heading to the Ford Focus for this iteration, especially since the automaker wants to move it upmarket. European customers will likely have a variety of models to choose from, including an upscale Vignale, ST performance, wagon, and an Active crossover-like variant. In North America however, expect the sedan and hatchback to be sold, and an ST model is likely. There’s no official word yet on a next-generation Focus RS.

Production of the North American 2019 Ford Focus is expected to begin in the middle of 2019 in China, which is where North American units will be sourced from. Europe however, will see the new Focus first, likely by the end of this year.
