Jaguar C-Pace Name Trademarked in Europe
Jaguar could be set to introduce another crossover called the C-Pace.
The British automaker has filed to reserve the ‘C-Pace’ name with the European Intellectual Property Office. The trademark was filed under multiple classifications including Nice Classification 9, which is typically reserved for computers, LIDAR, radar and other system related to autonomous driving. It is also filed under Nice Classification 12 for motor vehicles and Nice Classification 37 for maintenance, repair and servicing.

The C-Pace will likely be another addition to the growing Jaguar crossover portfolio that already includes the E-Pace, F-Pace and pure electric I-Pace. Jaguar is also rumored to have a large SUV on the way called the J-Pace.
If we had to guess, we’d say the C-Pace will be a coupe version of the F-Pace with a rearward sloping roofline and narrow, sporty-looking greenhouse. We’re only making an educated guess, though. We’ll have to wait for Jag’s official announcement (if that ever comes) to truly know what the C-Pace could be.

Why would they bother? I doubt that. The F-Pace already has the best looking roof-line in the business. I would bet something else. Doesn't make sense.
