When the market is dominated by SUV offerings, the humble family sedan is quickly becoming an overlooked choice. Often offering just as much utility as their taller cousins, the mid-size sedan is a sensible way to comfortably transport a gaggle of people and things.

Drivers have been crossover crazy for years, flocking to car-based utility vehicles like senior citizens to a discount buffet. 

Before trucks and utility vehicles became all the rage, large sedans used to be the heart of the American car market. They dominated thoroughfares and back roads of this country for decades. Big Buicks, mighty Mopars and forceful Fords were a way of life for drivers just half a lifetime ago.

While most luxury vehicle manufacturers are turning in their sports cars to invade the luxury sedan segment, Ferrari is standing firm stating that they are officially ruling out sedans from their production. “As Enzo would say, we will never do four doors,” said Amedeo Felisa. “And we will keep this tradition.”
