Diesel power is back at Ram!

We’ve been hearing rumors and seeing spy photos for months, but at long last, it’s here: the all-new 2019 Ram 1500.

While other automakers would certainly disagree, the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 is probably the most significant reveal at this year’s North American International Auto Show.

Along with Jeep, Ram is undoubtedly one of FCA’s most important divisions.

The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee concept is heading to dealer shows where  Chrysler will gather feedback that will play a heavy hand in deciding whether or not it will be mass-produced. 

Noticeably missing from the 2013 RAM 1500 lineup is the Tradesman HD model, and chances are it won’t be returning anytime soon, if ever. 

After a wildly enthusiastic reception to the Ram Runner, the dune-bashing variant of the Ram pickup, Chrysler engineers have decided to go back to the drawing board and make the upgrade kit street legal, giving Ram loyalists a weapon against the Ford F-150 Raptor.

Chrysler will build a licensed version of a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox at their Indiana transmission plant. Production is expected to start in 2013, and retain roughly 1,200 jobs.
