Formula 1 has a new, or rather, familiar player – Ford.

You can’t be a championship-winning team unless you understand all the details, and that’s exactly what Red Bull Racing does so well. With all the changes happening for the new race season, Red Bull Racing has released a new video explaining the 2014 rules in a way the laymen can understand.

Independence Day is already a month past, but the Red Bull Racing Team is still feeling plenty patriotic. Infiniti and the Red Bull Racing Team took its full-operating Formula 1 show car out to New York, where it did its own rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Infiniti might not have their own F1 team, but that little detail isn’t stopping them from helping the Red Bull team with an energy-recovery system for their F1 team. Consider it Infiniti’s foot in the grand prix door.

With their supply of Renault engines set to dry up after 2011, and new engine regulations coming into place in 2013, current champions Red Bull are said to be looking at producing their own engines, with one rumored partner said to be Volkswagen.
