Find everything you need to know about the Kia EV6 here, along with expert reviews, specs, photos, videos and more.

The Kia EV6 is one of the more stylish all-electric crossovers currently on sale. The long, sleek shape gives the vehicle a wagon-like profile, in contrast to its corporate sibling, the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Both of these EVs are front runners in the segment.

The EV6 offers consumers a lot of choice, starting with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. Power starts at 225 hp for the entry level Wind model, and tops out at an impressive 576 hp in the GT. We have been impressed with EV6 over multiple drives. The interior is equal parts technologically impressive as well as functional.

2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT vs 2023 Kia EV6 GT Comparison

Over 1,000 all-electric horsepower. That’s the outrageous combined figure these two powerhouse EVs are dishing.

No, that’s not a typo. There is indeed 1,056 hp on hand here, coming from some unlikely sources. First, there is the Kia EV6 GT. Kia’s long-roof EV SUV debut last year and for 2023 a high-performance version has joined the ranks.

Taking it on is the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance. The Mach-E has been on sale a little bit longer, and the GT Performance is the most potent version of the Mach-E.

2022 Kia EV6 Review: Futuristic Family Machine

Kia might as well be called Parker Lewis, because it just can’t lose.

The Korean brand has had a string of hits in the last couple years. The Carnival has done the unthinkable, making minivans cool again—and winning coveted awards, no less. The Sorento might just be the best three-row crossover you can buy for around $50,000, especially in plug-in hybrid form. And the Telluride is so popular people are paying over list for it.

So it isn’t surprising that the new 2022 Kia EV6 is similarly excellent. This all-electric model breaks new ground for the brand, ushering in a bold new styling direction, impressive charging speeds, and engaging driving dynamics.

We drove the Kia EV6 last week and adored it; around the same time, we crowned the Ioniq 5 our 2022 Green Vehicle of the Year. Safe to say we love them both.

But just like two siblings, they’re both special in their own ways. In fact, we were sure they had complementing strengths, strengths that contrasted with the others’ weakness.
