Ram is entering the quickly growing all-electric pick-up truck segment. Called the Ram 1500 REV, little is known about this truck currently, but details should emerge soon. One thing we do know, is it appears to be based on the regular Ram 1500 chassis, but with electric power. This is a similar design to the Ford F-150 Lightning.

Once more details emerge we will update this page.

2025 Ram 1500 REV Will Feature Enormous 229-kWh Battery Pack, Targets 500-Mile Range

Ram shares most of the important figures for the upcoming 2024 Ram 1500 REV all-electric pickup.

Ram has kicked off the 2023 New York International Auto Show with a massive info dump on its equally massive EV pickup truck, the 2025 Ram 1500 REV. We first saw the Lightning competitor in production form during this year’s Super Bowl; now, we know what it will be packing, including battery sizes, range, towing and hauling capacity—and even a new range-topping trim.

Let’s get those headline figures out of the way first. The standard battery pack comes in at a beefy 168 kilowatt-hours, with a targeted 350 miles (563 kilometers) of range. An optional pack bumps that up to a capacity larger than any current available vehicle: 229 kWh, with an expected 500 mi (805 km) of range.

The 2025 RAM 1500 REV Looks Really Similar To The ICE-Powered RAM 1500

The RAM 1500 REV made its debut right during the Superbowl.

The all-electric RAM 1500 REV surprised us all, by revealing all of its sheet metal during this year’s Superbowl. Dropping during a hilarious ad satirizing men’s “enhancement’ pills, the 60-second ad took the wraps off the electric truck.

I guess the humor was meant to distract us from what feels a little like a bait-and-switch. The production version of the RAM 1500 REV doesn’t look much like the concept, at all. Aside from a unique front fascia, and charge port on the front fender, it’s clear that the RAM 1500 is mostly the same as its ICE brethren, at least stylistically. At the rear, boomerang rear lights tie into the concept, but the bed shape and side storage pockets look to be nearly identical to the regular RAM 1500.

Well, the conglomerate that includes Dodge and RAM trucks has released details on its EV truck plans. RAM plans to unveil its EV truck, officially called the RAM 1500 Revolution BEV Concept at next year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show).
