Not that long ago, actor Rowan Atkinson made news with his appearance on Top Gear, even setting a lap record on the famous show. Now the famous Mr. Bean is making headlines again, but this time it’s not so good.

While driving his McLaren F1 GTR, it is believed that he lost control of the supercar, spun several times before hitting a tree and a lamppost. Fortunately for Atkinson, he was able to get himself out of the vehicle before it reportedly caught on fire. The crash happened on the A605 near Haddon, Cambridgeshire shortly after 7:30pm.

Atkinson was taken to a local hospital and was treated for a shoulder injury, though he should feel very fortunate that nothing more serious happened. The exact state of the ultra-rare McLaren F1 isn’t known.
