Ward’s Auto has released its top 10 picks for best interior in 2012 today, though in no particular order. Here they are with brief notes on each car’s engine specs and starting price.

The 2012 Mazda CX-5 crossover is powered by 2.0-liter Skyactiv inline four cylinder that makes 155 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque with a starting MSRP of $20,695 with front-wheel drive.

2013 Infiniti JX

The 2013 Infiniti JX35 has a 3.5-liter V6 with 265 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque and has a starting MSRP of $40,450 or $41,550 for the all-wheel drive version.

Making the list in its debut model, the 2013 Dodge Dart starts at $15,995 and comes with a 2.0-liter Tigershark inline four making 160 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque.

Freshly redesigned for a wider audience, the Volkswagen Beetle derives power from 2.5-liter five-cylinder, making 170 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque.

Awards are nothing new to the Range Rover Evoque, which most recently won the 2012 World Car Design of the Year award. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder with 240 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque powers the car with a starting $43,995 MSRP.

The 2012 Hyundai Azera is powered by a 293 hp 3.3-liter V6 with 255 lb-ft of torque and costs $32,000 to start.

Powered by a 1.6-liter, direct-injected four cylinder with 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque, the 2012 Hyundai Accent starts at $14,595.

With it’s upscale look and relatively low $27,470 starting price, the 2012 Chrysler 300 has a 3.6-liter V6 engine capable of 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.

Interior of the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.

Marrying small size and young style, the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic starts at $13,665 for the sedan and has a 1.8-liter four cylinder that makes 138 hp and 125 lb-ft of torque.

Farbe: Eissilber

Finally, the 2012 Audi A7 rounds off the list with possibly the nicest interior, and a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 pumping out 310 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque for a starting MSRP of $59,250.

Photos of best interiors, yet zero caption information on what justified the choices, only unrelated engine, HP and price data. The feature is about INTERIORS! [duh].

This was a joke... they misprinted it in error. A couple of those interiors are the worst I have ever seen. That Azera reminds me of some sort of alien. And the Audi being number one is not right. My wife and I looked at one and the first thing both of us stated was how much we disliked the display sticking up like a sore thumb and very distracting to us. There are so many gorgeous interiors out there that were left off the list that it just really is silly. One man cannot pick out the best looking interiors... it's just plain silly. The way you get a better picture of the best interiors is to have nominations. The top 25 get voted on by the readers, then you can post the top 10. If you have enough of a variety of readers, you might get some sort of sensibility from the results.
