Hot on the heels of its public appearance at Pebble Beach, the MINI John Cooper Works GP is being described by its head designer in a new video.

As the fastest production MINI to date, the car has 210 hp and tap and set records earlier this year driving around the Nurburgring in Germany. While none of the information in the car is really new, the video highlights attributes like the carbon rear roof spoiler, diffuser and red front brake vents.

Design head Anders Warming talks in the video about how the team revised parts of the car like its wheels to still resemble the previous GP while standing out as a new product.
