Heading to this month’s Singapore Grand Prix will be a very limited edition of the McLaren MP4-12C called ‘SGP Edition’, designed and built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO).

MSO is most well-known for its recent creation, the crazy McLaren X-1. Undoubtedly the MP4-12C SGP Edition is more subtle, but its price tag is still quite exorbitant – $1.05 million to be exact. It’s also limited to just three vehicles, which means interested buyers better act fast, especially considering two are already spoken for.

The special edition model features a unique two-tone Fire Black and Rocket Red theme inside and out, designed to mimic the Vodafone-McLaren Mercedes F1 race car. The exterior is further accented by silver pinstripes. Rounding off the package are a new set of lightweight wheels and redesigned front and rear bumpers featuring more aggressive styling.
