One of Britain’s most iconic vehicles, owned by one of its most iconic stars, will be heading to RM Auctions in London estimating to fetch an impressive $482,880 – $611,650 (£300,000-£380,000).

This 1964 Aston Martin DB5 is the British automaker’s most iconic model and is often regarded as one of the most famous cars in the world. Pair that up with the fact that it was delivered brand new to Beatles member Paul McCartney and it’s no surprise that it’ll be one of the most sought-after vehicles at the London RM Auctions.

Powered by a 4.0-liter, inline-six with 280 hp, this particular DB5 finished assembly on July 3rd, 1964 with a Sierra Blue paint exterior and black leather interior. Since then the car has changed ownership several times before it was completely restored in 2011 which included bare-metal sanding, a repaint of Sierra Blue, new grey interior, brakes, and cylinder head.
