Dora the Explorer, Bob the Builder or whatever your kids want to watch are now available in Chrysler and Dodge minivans in Blu-Ray high definition.

Vans for the 2013 model year will be available with the system, which can play both standard DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. Screens for the second and third row can also play two different movies simultaneously.

As you would expect, Chrysler is also offering higher-resolution screens in the vans for 2013 to accommodate the new technology. The kids (or mantourage) will also be able to plug in a gaming system via HMDI to play video games on the go.

Customers will be able to choose the system as an option on “Crew” and “R/T” trimmed Dodge Grand Caravans and Chrysler Town & Country Touring-L models. It will be included as standard equipment on Chrysler Town & Country S and Limited models.
