The all-new 2014 Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan was just spied testing in Northern Sweden.

Hyundai will build the car on an updated version of the current rear-wheel drive chassis, which is rumored to benefit from considerable weight loss and a revised suspension. The all-new Genesis will also be available for the first time with four-wheel drive according to the paper on the rear right window.

The brand brought its HCD-14 concept to the Detroit Auto Show last month and speculation suggested that car might preview the new Genesis — codenamed “DH.” That isn’t the case, though. Instead the HCD-14 is a preview of where the brand plans to take its luxury cars overall instead of specifically previewing the Genesis sedan.

These pictures also reveal full LED headlights and a wide hexagonal grille. In its new generation, the car will also likely continue with updated versions of the 3.8-liter V6 and 5.0-liter Tau V8 – both with an eight speed automatic transmission at launch. A 10-speed transmission is expected later.
