McLaren Bringing Past and Present Can-Ams to Goodwood

McLaren is heading to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with a selection of legendary models from the automaker’s heritage collection along with race- and championship-winning models.

Attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed is part of the brand’s 50th anniversary celebrations, and McLaren will have its modern-day 12C GT Can-Am Edition taking part in the run up the Goodwood Hill. The 12C GT Can-Am Edition will be produced in strictly limited numbers, with no more than 30 being built globally according to McLaren.

McLaren’s Racing team claimed five back-to-back world championships from 1969 and 1974 and is the most successful team in the history of Can-Am racing.
