Renault Denies Cooperation With Mitsubishi

Renault has released a statement denying any cooperation between the French automaker and Mitsubishi.

The automaker announced that it has had discussions in the past with Mitsubishi for limited cooperations, but those discussions did not lead to any decisions. Mitsubishi is a partner of Daimler and also works with Nissan in Asia since 2003.

Nissan is Renault’s strategic partner and has worked with Mitsubishi on several projects including manufacturing and selling light-duty trucks in Japan.
