Mazda’s full lineup has been quickly adopting the same “KODO” face, and an early photo of the next generation Mazda2 reveals that the brand’s small car is ready to take on the same look.

The photo comes from a magazine that was scanned by Japanese site Minkara, saying that it shows off the next generation Demio, sold as the Mazda2 in the U.S. Styling additions include a new face that falls closely in line with that used on all of Mazda’s recently introduced products.

The new Mazda2 will use the brand’s SkyActiv suite of technologies which all come together to save fuel, and make the car lighter. It will ride on a shortened version of the CX-5’s platform, which also suggests that it might use a downtuned version of the CX-5’s 2.0-liter engine. Another engine possibility is the 1.3-liter four cylinder that the brand uses in the Japaneses version of the Mazda2.

The new Mazda2 is expected to debut in the spring of 2014 as a model year 2015 vehicle.
