Jaguar has announced a recall that affects around 940 XF models equipped with the 2.0-liter GTDi engine.

The problem pertains to a hose clamp that can come loose on the charge air cooler (intercooler). If the hose pops off, the engine can stall and the car can lose steering and brake assistance. This problem only affects model year 2013 vehicles.

Jaguar will notify affected owners, and fix or replace the hose clamp free of charge. Owners may contact Jaguar at 1-800-452-4827
