Porsche Now Sells Furniture Made Out of Car Parts
Porsche Driver’s Selection has introduced a new line of home and office items for the hardcore Porsche enthusiast.
The new Porsche Driver’s Selection Luxury Home and Office collection features products crafted from original Porsche parts, such as an office chair made from a 911 Carrera sport seat and a wall shelf built from the rear spoiler of a 911 GT3 Cup Race car.
The office chair is built to the same specifications and upholstered with the same premium black leather as the sport seat found in various 911 models. There is also an electronic backrest adjustment and an embossed Porsche emblem in the headrest.
The shelf is made of carbon fiber and is actually repurposed from an original Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and can support up to 264 lbs.
And to celebrate the 918 Spyder, Porsche will be producing a limited quantity 1:8 scale resin model of its newest supercar. It will be limited to just 918 pieces.
All the Porsche Driver’s Selection products are available at authorized Porsche dealerships across the United States and online.
