Porsche Museum Welcomes Its Two-Millionth Visitor

The Porsche Museum has welcomed its two-millionth visitor, another milestone reached as the German automaker celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 911 model.

According to Porsche, the “50 years of the 911” exhibition has brought in over 200,000 visitors during the second half of 2013. Even more impressive, travelers from all around the world are heading to the Porsche Museum with over 35 percent of its visitors coming from outside Germany.

The Porsche Museum opened in 2009 and over 500,000 people visited that year. By June 2011, the museum had welcomed one million guests through its doors.

Entry to the museum costs €8 for adults ($11.00) and children under 14 are admitted for free when accompanied with an adult.
