I want this. I really, really do. Perfect size and dynamics. But, an ugly snout and no lane departure warning, emergency auto stop, LED tailights, etc., etc., etc. Why does Honda and Acura always seem to be 5 years behind everyone else in basic tech? I want to buy their stuff - but they just are not up to snuff. In 2018 they will have the same things that a basic Hyundai Elantra had in 2013. Ugh.

I don't even know if they offer the auto-brake feature on the newer MDX. Sounds like you want a Volvo.

I love my RDX, you are right it is the perfect size. It is not a luxury vehicle but it acts like one. If you want all the play toys try the RLX! It is playful and classy! we have both in the family and depending on the mood, change cars! Don't ever knock Acura... always the best style, service and comfort, and I have had just about everything!
