Starting this summer, GMC will offer its heavy-duty Sierra pickup truck with the “All Terrain” package previously introduced on the brand’s new half-tons.

The newly packaged trucks come with the Z71 off-road package including twin-tube shocks, hill descent control and a skid plate. All Terrain Sierra HD pickups will be sold exclusively with four-wheel drive and an electronically controlled transfer case, although the the majority of changes associated with the package are cosmetic.

Specific changes to the All Terrain package include a chrome grille surround, exterior graphics, aluminum shields under the body and 18-inch chrome wheels reserved for All Terrain models. If 18-inch wheels are too small, GMC will also sell you 20-inch versions.

GMC also announced updates that will apply to the entire 2015 Sierra HD lineup that include heated, power adjustable trailering mirrors on SLE and SLT trimmed trucks. Those mirrors include backup lamps that shine a light to make reversing at night easier. With the SLE trim, the mirror is capped in black plastic while SLT and Denali versions are covered in chrome.
