2016 Kia Sorento Bows Ahead of Paris Motor Show Debut

The 2016 Kia Sorento is making an appearance ahead of its auto show debut in Paris later this year.

The Korean automaker showed off its re-designed Sorento last weekend in Korea with the crossover growing bigger to provide a roomier cabin for its passengers. According to the Kia, the 2016 Sorento’s design is an evolution of the current model but features styling influenced by the Cross GT concept that debuted at last year’s Chicago Auto show.

U.S. pricing and availability hasn’t been announced for the 2016 Sorento, but Kia hopes that the refreshed model will have a “more mature appearance” while new convenience and safety technologies will help differentiate it in a crowded segment. Overall, the new crossover is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor. Expect more details on the model when its hits the show floor in Paris.
