The Porsche Macan is off to a hot start and in an effort to push things further, the company will expand its lineup in the U.S.

The German automaker has confirmed that it will add a Macan diesel model to the U.S. in a little over a year and will use a V6 powerplant with about 245 hp. The news comes from the vice president of marketing for Porsche Cars North America in an interview with Automotive News, who also revealed that the model will be priced conservatively at under $60,000. That would slot the Macan diesel in between the Macan S and the Macan Turbo, which are priced $50,895 and $73,295 respectively.

The model will feature a version of the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine that’s currently offered in Europe and could possibly make its debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. Sales will likely begin either late next year or early 2016.
