The cheapest way to put 707 horsepower under your right foot is now on its way to dealerships.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat begins shipping from its production plant in Brampton, On today to dealerships all across North America. The brand has already received 4,500 orders for the new Hellcat, and that was in just the first five days of the books opening up.

Power comes from the first ever factory-supercharged HEMI V8, cranking out 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, with all that juice routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual. With the auto box, the car is rated at 13 mpg in the city, 22 on the highway and 16 mpg combined, while the manual only affects the highway rating, bringing it down by 1 mpg.
