McLaren Confirms Third Model, Officially Named Sport Series

There have been rumors for some time that a new McLaren model, code-named the P13, is in the works. Now the company is officially confirming that a new car is on the way.

Called the Sport Series, this model will debut in 2015. It will be positioned in the company’s range below the 650S. Along with this confirmation of the vehicle the company has also mentioned the fact that the car will feature a mid-mounted V8 engine and a carbon fiber chassis. The Sport Series will be new territory for the company that is usually known for its exotic supercars.

The McLaren Sport Series will feature an extensive launch campaign that focuses on 13 game-changing moments in the McLaren world. These stories will be told in coming weeks using the hashtag #BlackSwanMoments. Watch the teaser video below.
