McLaren will show off a new sports car at the 2015 New York Auto Show.

Called the Sports Series, the new car from McLaren will be the cheapest car offered by the British company, with a starting price tag of about £130,000 ($201,000 USD). The Sports Series will use a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 producing “well over” 500 hp according to Autocar.

McLaren is aiming the car at the top-end Porsche 911s and the Mercedes AMG GT. It will have similar dimensions to the McLaren 650S, though the Sports Series won’t have the active aerodynamics or adaptive suspension setup like that car.

Between 2000 and 2500 units are planned each year for the Sport Series, which may get a new name when it is introduced. Following in line with the 650S, the car may be called the 550S. A track-only GT3 version of the car is also said to be in the works along with a grand touring variant.
