Kia’s best-selling car just got better.

Making its debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, the 2016 Kia Optima enters a new generation with styling from Peter Schreyer. Two engines will carry over for the 2016 Optima including the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 185 hp and the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 247 hp. New for the 2016 model will be a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with an estimated 178 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque.

Inside the Optima also gets numerous upgrades compared to the current model, such as improving the interior with real stitching on the dash and doors as well as more soft-touch material. Also available as an option will be high-grade Nappa leather and a new suite of technologies.
