Cadillac ATS-V+ Rumored to Get 7.0-liter V8
Could the 7-liter V8 engine from the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 live on in an extra hot Cadillac ATS-V? That’s the latest rumor swirling around with the General’s luxury brand
That information comes from MotorTrend, stating that GM wants to keep working on that hand-made 505-hp mill, and if it was to show up in a Cadillac product, it’d likely be sporting a bit more power.

The ATS-V was designed from the get-go to fit a V8 engine under the hood and the 7-liter LS7 V8 engine is actually lighter than the twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 that’s used in the ATS-V.
As it stands, the ATS-V makes 464-hp and 445-lb-ft, allowing the car to hit 60 MPH in less than 4 seconds. If Cadillac wants the ATS-V+ to be any faster, that high-revving V8 may be the engine to do it.

7.0 is lighter and more powerful than V6 TT, but is it more economical?
I can hardly wait for the 6th gen Z28 to get here and I'm sure 505 hp will be a thing of the past. The 7.0 is capable of way more than that.
